Marina Moawad is an Egyptian Food, Product & Lifestyle Commercial Photographer based in Southern California.

After completing her bachelor's degree in Dentistry and practicing for five years as a Dentist, Marina found her true passion in photography and started diving deep into learning. This helped her start her food photography business. In less than a year, she managed to work for some of the biggest name brands in the food industry and numerous high-end restaurants.

In 2021, Marina Completed her MFA in photography from New York Film Academy. So she has both academic and practical experience. She was captivated by food photography, at the start of her career, because of her culture. Marina grew up surrounded by her mom and grandma cooking delicious meals that brought their family together. To her, that's what food is; it's the taste of her childhood memories.

Marina crafts images to evoke a feeling of warmth and magic, paying attention to details that are usually unrevealed. Every tiny detail is intentional; adding a touch of vibrancy and lots of energy is what completes the story.

She is also a mama to a beautiful baby boy, a wife, and a choir singer. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, going to the beach, and trying new restaurants and cuisines.
